Paul Yacoubian

Paul joined Craig Corporate in 1988 and is responsible for leading its development in both of its key service areas, business management and corporate finance. He also sits on the board of a number of companies.

During his early career he qualified as a Chartered Accountant with Arthur Andersen & Co, during which he spent some time on secondment to the investment team of the Scottish Development Agency (which was later spun into Scottish Equity Partners).

Paul Bready

Paul joined Craig Corporate in 2016 and has been involved in various diligence, fund raising and financial modelling assignments. Paul often supports our clients as an interim or part-time CFO, and contributes to board meetings as either a member of our client’s Executive or as a Non-Executive Director. Paul has strong experience in the practice of scenario planning and helping organisations think about how the future will impact upon their long-term financial strategy.

Paul qualified as a Chartered Accountant (ICAS) with Grant Thornton’s commercial audit practice in Edinburgh after completing a Bachelor’s degree in Accountancy (B’Acc) at Glasgow University. After returning to Glasgow with Grant Thornton, Paul was responsible as the External Audit Manager for a number of Scotland’s largest public sector bodies (including Scotland’s national agency for sport and Scotland’s Fire & Rescue Service) alongside a number of privately owned businesses in the whisky, manufacturing and property sectors.

In 2015 Paul was presented with an ICAS award for “Demonstrating the Values of a CA” and was a semi-finalist for the “One Young CA” accolade, a prize given for leadership, entrepreneurial spirit and innovation within the profession.

More recently, as a Director of Craig Corporate, Paul helps to develop our team and manages several of our key client relationships.

Neil Grimmond

Neil joined Craig Corporate in 2005 and has been involved with both corporate finance and business management assignments. Corporate finance projects have ranged from diligence to assisting with sales and acquisitions of companies with particular focus on MBO’s.

Neil qualified as a Chartered Accountant with PwC where he gained significant experience across a wide range of sectors.

Bill Finlay

Bill joined Craig Corporate in 1997 and has been involved in a variety of Business Management roles including Finance Director and Financial Controller, as well as acting as non-executive Director for various SME companies. He has successfully implemented a number of turnaround plans and has performed a large number of diligence and investigation assignments. Bill also has considerable experience in corporate finance deals including MBO’s, acquisitions and disposals.

Bill qualified as a Chartered Accountant with Thomson McClintock (now KPMG) and has had a number of senior management roles in industry.  Before joining Craig Corporate, Bill was with AT Mays, the travel agent, latterly as Group Accountant and Company Secretary.

Ross McAdam

Ross joined Craig Corporate in 2021 having previously worked in audit, corporate finance and private equity.

Ross qualified as a Chartered Accountant (ICAS) with EY in their audit department before joining Craig Corporate for his first spell at the firm. During his time at Craig Corporate, Ross advised a range of businesses including interim executive management positions, M&A, financial due diligence and financial modelling assignments.

Ross then spent time at Clyde Blowers Capital responsible for deal origination and execution and value enhancement of the portfolio including hands on operational support to company’s leadership teams.

Ross returned to Craig Corporate in order to continue to support a range of clients including business owners and to support the continued growth of the company.

Ross is also a Trustee and Treasurer of SAMH, Scotland’s leading mental charity.

Ross McCloy

Ross joined Craig Corporate in June 2022 having previously worked in audit and the investment banking sector. Ross has a degree in Mathematics from the University of Stirling.

He qualified as a Chartered Accountant (ICAS) whilst working in practice with BDO.

Ross joined BDO in 2015 and spent three years in the firm’s audit department. Throughout this period he worked with a range of private businesses forming strong working relationships.

Ross moved to Morgan Stanley in 2018 and was primarily responsible for collaborating with senior stakeholders as well as leading the review and submission of key financial reporting deliverables and KPI monitoring.

Ross joined Craig Corporate to work with a wide variety of ambitious, growing organisations where he can use his experience to provide hands on support to help our clients.

Jamie Kyle

Jamie joined Craig Corporate in January 2023 from PwC’s Financial Services Audit Team, where his engagements focused on Multinational Funds, Private Equity and Venture Capital.

Jamie holds an MA in International Relations from the University of St Andrews and an MSC in management from the University of Glasgow, where he was awarded the Adam Smith Scholar Award for academic achievement.

He qualified as a Chartered Accountant with ICAS in 2022, and at Craig Corporate, Jamie assists with a wide range of projects, with an emphasis on business acquisitions and sales.

Niall Ullah

Niall joined Craig Corporate in April 2023, having previously qualified as a Chartered Accountant (ICAS) in 2022.

Niall began his career in 2018 within the financial services audit department at EY, before making the move to Johnston Carmichael in 2021 where he focused on the Scottish SME market. This involved operating across several diverse sectors and industries which has prepared Niall well for a career working with SMEs in the Corporate Finance space.

Niall joined Craig Corporate to focus on a wide range of opportunities, with a key interest in Financial Modelling, Cashflow Planning, and assisting clients in navigating through periods of change.

Tom Craig

Tom founded Craig Corporate in 1985. He sits on the board (as a non-executive or Chairman) of several companies including Houston Bottling and Co-Pack. Tom was also delighted to have been appointed as the Chairman of the Scottish Golf Union, leading it through to it’s amalgamation with the LSGA.

During his early career, he qualified as a Chartered Accountant with Arthur Young & Co (now Ernst & Young), after which he joined ICFC (now 3i) as an Investment Controller. He then spent some time in industry before moving into management consultancy with PA.

Tom retired from Craig Corporate in April 2018 but remains as a consultant to the business.
